This document serves to formalize the agreement granting the Publisher an option to publish the Book titled “[Title of the Book]” by the Author, starting from [Option Start Date].
The Author grants the Publisher an exclusive option to publish the Book for a period of [Duration of Option].
In consideration for the option, the Publisher agrees to pay the Author a fee of [Amount], due within [Payment Terms].
